I specialize in using herbs to address health problems and support whole person health. Combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise, herbs are the best way to support a vibrant life. If you are looking for a guide to navigate the large and complicated forest of herbal and nutritional supplements, I’d love to help. One tool I use to evaluate the right herbs and formulas is laboratory testing. I have repeatedly found underlying health issues that when addressed early on, can be easily and rapidly turned around. It also is a gold standard gauge to determine if the herbs or supplements you are taking are working for you. These tests document optimal health and not just the absence of disease.

I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a practice in Capitola, California. I create custom herbal remedies for my patients and for other health care providers. I often use the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis model and herbal formulas, but have experience in Western and Ayurvedic herbs as well.
